Data deletion

You can delete your data from PublishClip yourself, whenever you like, without contacting anyone. Pick the option that fits. What we keep, and why, is explained in the Privacy Policy.

  1. Disconnect an account

    Sign in, open Accounts and choose Disconnect next to a Facebook Page or Instagram account. We delete its stored access token and that account's post history straight away. Your login and your videos stay.

  2. Delete your PublishClip account

    Sign in, open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. We delete your profile, all your connected accounts and their tokens, your post history, and your uploaded videos and thumbnails. This cannot be undone.

    Reels that are already live on Facebook or Instagram stay there. Delete those on the platform itself.

  3. Remove the app in Facebook

    This works even if you cannot sign in to PublishClip. In your Facebook settings, open Business Integrations (also called Apps and Websites), find PublishClip and remove it. Facebook then sends us a data deletion request automatically.

    We delete every Facebook Page and Instagram account connected through your Facebook user, together with their access tokens, and forget your Facebook user ID. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link to a status page, which looks like this:

    Your PublishClip login (email address and password) and your uploaded videos are not tied to Facebook, so they stay until you delete your account as in option 2.

For Meta app review

PublishClip implements Meta's Data Deletion Request Callback. Meta posts a signed request to the URL below. We verify the signature, delete the data described in option 3, and answer with a status URL and a confirmation code.
