Features

Everything you need to publish Reels. All of it free.

One upload, a caption for each platform, and a post that goes out now or when you say. Here is everything PublishClip does, in the order a post goes through it.

Connect

Connect once, with Facebook

Sign in with Facebook and tick the Pages you want to post to. The Instagram account linked to each Page is found for you, with its name and picture, so you always know where a post is going.

  • Pages and their Instagram accounts, added in one step
  • You sign in on Facebook itself: we never see your password
  • Meta drops a connection? Reconnect in a click. Disconnect whenever you like

Upload

Converted in your browser, not on a server

Drop in a vertical clip and your own browser does the work. It checks the length and shape, converts the video to the MP4 that Meta wants, and sends it straight to private storage. No video software runs on our servers, and nothing waits in a queue.

  • Checks for 9:16 and 3 to 90 seconds before you wait for anything
  • Skips the conversion when the file is already the right format
  • Progress at every step, and a plain message when something is wrong

If your browser cannot convert a file, try desktop Chrome, or export the clip as an MP4 first.

Captions

A caption for each platform

Facebook and Instagram are different places. Write a separate caption for each, or write one and copy it across with a click.

  • Instagram: a live count against the 2,200-character limit, and a warning past 30 hashtags
  • Facebook: a character count, with no hard limit
  • One button copies a caption to every other platform

Disclosure

Be upfront about AI footage

When a video is realistic AI-generated footage, switch the AI label on. The choice is saved with the post, and we pass it on to each platform that accepts a disclosure.

  • One switch in the composer
  • Saved with every post, so your history shows what you marked
  • Passed on wherever a platform takes a disclosure

Scheduling

Schedule in your own time zone

Pick the date and time where you live. Your time zone is taken from your browser the first time and saved to your profile, so a 9:00 AM post goes out at 9:00 AM your time, wherever our servers happen to be.

  • Post now, or pick a time for later
  • Edit or reschedule any time before a post starts to go out
  • Cancel a scheduled post, or move it back to a draft

Calendar

Your whole month at a glance

A calendar lays out everything you have published and everything still to come, so gaps and pile-ups are easy to see before they happen.

  • Published and scheduled posts side by side, in different colours
  • Spot the quiet weeks and the crowded days
  • Times shown in your own time zone

Media library

Upload once, post again whenever

Every video you upload is kept in your media library, so a good clip is never more than a click from your next post, and you never sit through the same upload twice.

  • All your videos in one place
  • See how long each clip is at a glance
  • Start a new post from any clip you already have

Caption templates

Captions and hashtag sets you can reuse

Save the captions you keep rewriting: the weekly special, the event reminder, the block of hashtags you always paste. Insert one into a post with a click, then change it however you like.

  • Save whole captions or just hashtag sets
  • Insert one into a post in a click
  • Change the text in the post without touching the template

Limits and retries

Daily limits handled, failures explained

Meta lets each account publish 100 Instagram posts and 30 Facebook Reels a day. When a post would go over, we hold it and send it after the reset: it waits, it doesn't fail. If Meta rejects a post for another reason, you see Meta's own words and can retry with one click.

  • Posts over a limit wait for the reset
  • Meta's own error text, shown as it is
  • A retry picks up where the post stopped, so it is never published twice

Alerts

Told when something needs you

If a connected account loses its connection, or a post fails, you will know. Notifications appear in the app, and when an account needs to be reconnected we email you as well, so a quiet week does not turn into a missed one.

  • In-app notifications for failed posts and lost connections
  • An email when an account needs to be reconnected
  • One place to see what needs your attention

Privacy and security

Private by design

Your video goes from your browser to a private bucket. A file has no public address: it can only be reached with a short-lived signed link, one for your own preview and one for Meta to fetch it when it is time to publish. Page access tokens are encrypted, and we never keep your personal Facebook token.

  • Private storage and signed links, never a public URL
  • Page access tokens encrypted in our database
  • Delete your data yourself: disconnect, delete your account, or remove the app in Facebook

What we are working on

More platforms need approval from the platforms themselves, so we cannot promise dates. Everything in the sections above stays free.
