Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and PublishClip (“we”, “us”) for using this website and service. By creating an account or using PublishClip you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

PublishClip lets you connect Facebook Pages and the Instagram professional accounts linked to them, upload a vertical video, and publish it to those accounts as Reels, now or on a schedule. It is free to use. We may add, change or remove features, and we will try to give notice of big changes.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13, old enough to make a binding agreement where you live, and allowed to use Facebook and Instagram.
  • Give us accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so tell us quickly if you think it has been compromised.
  • Only connect Pages and Instagram accounts that you own or are allowed to post to.

Your content

You keep all rights in your videos and captions. You give us permission to store, process and send them as needed to run the service, in particular to deliver them to Meta when you publish. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups that expire on their own.

You are responsible for what you publish. You confirm that you have the rights to everything in your videos (footage, music, images and the people shown) and that your content follows the law and the rules of the platform you publish to. If your footage is realistic and AI-generated, use the AI label when you compose the post.

Meta and other platforms

PublishClip works through Meta's official tools, so Meta's rules apply on top of these terms, including its Terms of Service, Platform Terms, Community Standards and the Instagram Terms of Use. Meta decides whether a post is accepted, can remove it, and can change its limits or withdraw our access at any time.

Meta currently allows each account 100 Instagram posts and 30 Facebook Reels per day through its API. When a post would go over a limit, we hold it and send it after the limit resets. If Meta rejects a post, we show you the reason when Meta gives one.

PublishClip is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. YouTube Shorts and TikTok are planned; each will come with its own rules when we add it.

Scheduling and delivery

We aim to publish at the time you choose, but we cannot guarantee it. Posts can be delayed or fail because of Meta, an expired or revoked connection, the state of your account, or downtime on our side. Check your Posts page, and reconnect an account when we ask you to. You are responsible for checking that your posts went out.

Acceptable use

Do not use PublishClip to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • publish content that Meta's rules prohibit, or mislead people about who you are or what you are posting;
  • send spam or run coordinated inauthentic activity;
  • upload malware, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
  • get around limits, security measures or Meta's rules, or let other people use your account;
  • copy or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

We may remove content, pause scheduled posts or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Free service and future plans

The features described on the Pricing page are free. A paid Pro plan with extra features, such as AI captions, team seats and more platforms, is planned. If we introduce paid plans we will announce them first, and what is free today stays free.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Profile or by removing the app in your Facebook settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law or Meta requires it, or if we shut the service down (with notice where we reasonably can). What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Our rights

The PublishClip software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy it.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about uptime, about posts being accepted by Meta, or about the service being fit for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed or failed posts, lost reach or income, or content removed by Meta. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months, which is nothing while the service is free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you published or because you broke these terms, you are responsible for it, to the extent the law allows.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and for significant changes we will tell signed-in users. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the place where the operator of PublishClip is based, without taking away consumer rights that apply where you live.

Contact

PublishClip does not publish a postal address or a public inbox. To ask about these terms, reply to any service email we have sent you, or write to the site's owner through the contact details on our Facebook app listing.
